Profile: Keyword Settings

Keyword settings let you highlight and alert on events that match terms important to your organization.

Dashboard Keyword Matching

Add keywords in your profile settings. eCrime.ch uses them to match relevant tracker fields such as:

• event or company name
• sector
• country
• available event context

Matched events are highlighted in the dashboard and can be filtered so you can quickly review keyword hits.

Choosing Keywords

Useful keywords include:

• company and brand names
• important domains
• subsidiaries and acquired companies
• high-value products or project names
• supplier names that you monitor closely

Avoid very short or generic terms unless you expect many matches and plan to filter them manually.

Email Alerts

Keyword email alerts are available for professional subscriptions. When enabled in your profile, eCrime.ch checks configured keywords regularly and sends an email alert when new matching events are detected.

The alert pipeline runs approximately once per hour.
